Pileated Woodpecker at the Suet Feeder
Pileated Woodpecker's seem to celebrate their arrivals to new locations. I have noticed that they hilariously laugh as they are flying to their new position; at least to the positions associated with a food source. Maybe they are telling their significant other where they are going, or perhaps they are just bold and unafraid at letting the immediate world know where they stand currently in life. One can hear a pileated woodpecker escavating a hole for miles around in a dense forest. They always act as if they are on an important mission of which nothing will stand in their way. These woody woodpeckers are indeed a bit zany, but I like their style.
