Such incredible beauty! It just blows your mind that it is real! Thanks for taking us along with you two! xoxoxox
You are very welcome Sheila... I am enjoying your enjoyment. May such joy spread into the world exponentially where all scenes become welcome and scenic.
Were you all alone on your hike? Or did you meet other people on this stunning path, too?Best wishesPepe
We actually saw only three other southbound hikers on our trip. However, for each hiker we may have spent only several hours to about half a day with them. We figured that only two people finished ahead of us, but they finished at a different endpoint than we did and we only met one of them. We were the first to finish at the antelope wells route. The last time someone signed the register in that area was three months prior to our arrival and they were section hiking northbound. We did see about 55 northbound hikers, and we estimated there may have only been about 75 that had a chance to finish the trail. Apparently, we heard that maybe 150 hikers started from New Mexico. We saw most of these hikers in Wyoming.... mainly between Yellowstone National Park and the Wind River Range.
